Terms of Use
These terms explain how you may use PlayRank Matrix, an independent guide to entertainment games and the publishers that offer them. Please read them before using our articles, comparisons, rankings, and other editorial material. The effective date is 20 October 2026.
1. Scope and acceptance
These terms apply whenever you visit playrankmatrix.com or read its guides, rankings, explanations, and articles. By using the site, you agree to follow these conditions and the laws that apply where you live. If you do not agree, please stop using the site. These terms cover access to our editorial service; they do not create an account, subscription, or contract for a game.
PlayRank Matrix is a discovery guide for people exploring games for entertainment. We describe and compare options so readers can decide what to investigate. We do not host, operate, or provide the games described in our editorial material. External publishers control their own products, accounts, technical systems, rules, and customer support. No gambling service, betting facility, wagering advice, or cash-prize activity is offered through this site.
Some pages may be useful to beginners, but a guide is not a substitute for checking a publisher's current information. You are responsible for deciding whether a game is suitable for you and for anyone using your device. A link or description is not a guarantee that a particular product is available to every reader.
2. Responsible use
You may browse the site for personal, non-commercial reading, share links to our pages, and send constructive suggestions or corrections. When sharing a link, identify it accurately and do not suggest that PlayRank Matrix endorses your organization or message. We welcome respectful feedback that helps make our explanations clearer and more useful.
You must not use the site in a way that disrupts access, puts other visitors at risk, or misrepresents who is communicating. In particular, do not:
- send malicious requests, attempt to interfere with site availability, or probe for access to systems or information that are not public;
- impersonate another person, submit abusive or unlawful messages, or use a contact channel to threaten or harass anyone;
- circumvent technical limits or protections, or automate high-volume collection that burdens the site;
- reproduce or republish substantial portions of our original work without permission; or
- use our pages to promote betting, wagering, or cash-prize play as though those activities were provided or approved here.
We may limit or block access when reasonably necessary to protect the site, its readers, or our rights. Any response will be proportionate to the circumstances and subject to applicable law. Nothing in this section prevents lawful criticism, accessibility tools, ordinary search indexing, or other use permitted by law.
3. Content and game identities
Our original writing, page organization, and editorial presentation are produced for PlayRank Matrix and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may quote a short passage for commentary or link to an article, provided you identify the source and do not alter the quotation in a misleading way. For substantial reproduction, republication, or commercial reuse of our original material, ask us first at [email protected].
Game titles, publisher names, logos, screenshots, and other third-party materials remain associated with their respective owners. Mentioning a title or publisher helps readers identify a product; it does not transfer ownership or imply that the owner sponsors, approves, or has reviewed this guide. Where we refer to a third-party mark, we do so for identification and editorial discussion.
You retain any rights you hold in a message or suggestion you send us. By sending feedback, you allow us to read and use it to evaluate, correct, or improve our editorial material. We will not treat a suggestion as confidential unless we have separately agreed to that in writing.
4. Editorial independence
Our comparisons and rankings are editorial discovery aids. They reflect the scope and criteria described alongside the relevant material, and may consider matters such as beginner accessibility, game variety, device requirements, and clarity of publisher information. A ranking is not a certification, a recommendation for every person, or a promise of an outcome. Our coverage is selective and does not represent every game or publisher available in Canada.
Editorial judgments are made for readers seeking understandable information. A placement should not be taken as financial, legal, or personal advice. We may update an article when information changes, when a reader points out an error, or when our explanation needs more context. The date or wording on a page may not reflect every change made by an external publisher.
If a future page contains a compensated placement or affiliate link, we will label that relationship near the relevant link so readers can take it into account. No existing publisher agreement is implied by these terms, and a commercial relationship would not change the need to identify sponsored material clearly. Advertising and publisher policies may change; any reference to a third-party policy is supplied for context, not as an endorsement.
5. External services
Our pages may link to publisher websites or other external services. Those destinations are controlled by their operators, who set their own terms, privacy notices, age requirements, technical conditions, and support processes. When you follow a link, you leave our editorial environment and should review the destination's current information before taking action.
Before playing, check the publisher's age rating, regional availability, device and browser requirements, installation needs, account conditions, and any optional purchases. Descriptions such as “browser” or “free” refer to the selection information available when we prepared the guide. A product may later require registration, offer optional paid features, change its access model, or become unavailable.
We do not control external content, security, availability, or how an outside provider handles information. A link is provided to help readers explore a subject and does not mean we guarantee or adopt every statement made at that destination. If an external service causes a concern, contact its operator through the channels it provides.
6. Accuracy and liability
We take reasonable care when preparing our editorial material, but games, publisher policies, device support, and availability can change. The site is provided as general information, on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that every description will remain current, that a linked service will be uninterrupted, or that a game will work on a particular device or produce a particular result for you.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, PlayRank Matrix is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from reliance on general editorial information or from the operation of an external service. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including any mandatory consumer protection, statutory warranty, or remedy that applies to you. You remain responsible for your decisions, your device, and your use of third-party products, subject to those non-excludable rights.
Entertainment should fit comfortably within your time and budget. Take breaks, protect personal information, and use purchase controls where available. If a game stops being enjoyable or begins to affect other parts of life, step away and consider speaking with someone you trust. The site does not promise winning approaches, earnings, or personal success.
7. Applicable law
These terms are interpreted under the laws of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada, without displacing mandatory protections that apply in the province or territory where you live. If a court finds that a provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions continue to apply as far as the law allows.
If you have a concern about these terms or our site, please contact us first so we can try to understand and resolve it informally. This request does not prevent you from using a complaint process, legal remedy, or consumer right available under applicable law, and it does not shorten any statutory deadline.
8. Changes to these terms
These terms take effect on 20 October 2026. We may revise them when the site, its editorial practices, or applicable requirements change. The current version will appear on this page with an updated effective date. For a material change, we will explain the change here in plain language so returning readers can see what has been revised.
Revised terms apply prospectively from their stated effective date, subject to mandatory law. Continuing to use the site after that date means you accept the revised conditions to the extent a continued-use agreement is legally effective. If you do not accept a revision, discontinue use of the site. Rights and obligations that accrued before a change remain governed by applicable law.
9. Contact the operator
PlayRank Matrix is an independent editorial project serving readers interested in entertainment games in Canada. For questions about these terms, a correction, or the operation of this guide, email [email protected]. Please describe the page or issue clearly and avoid including passwords, payment details, or other sensitive information.
The editorial inbox is monitored Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00 Eastern Time, excluding Canadian public holidays. We aim to acknowledge and answer ordinary enquiries within two business days. Complex correction requests may take longer if we need to review the underlying source material. This service standard is an operational goal, not a guarantee that every matter can be resolved within that period.
These terms address use of the guide and are separate from the privacy information governing browser preferences and contact messages. You can read our Privacy Policy and Cookie and Browser Storage Policy for those subjects.
